Assistant Manager - HSE

EXPERIENCE

1 Year post qualification work experience in handling Safety pipeline laying inspection

QUALIFICATION

BE / B - Tech (full time) in relevant branch of engineering with 60% marks or CGPA of 6 on 10-point scale and / or Postgraduate with Divisional Officer’s Course from National Fire Service or Diploma in Industrial Safety (HSE / Fire & Safety / Industrial Safety Engineering)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitoring and checking of all on-going activities for safety parameter as per company safety norms.
  • Ensure permit to work system is properly followed.
  • Coordination for conducting audits, work site inspections, mock drills and HSE trainings.
  • To evaluate Hazards, Unsafe Acts, Unsafe conditions and taking all necessary steps to prevent/restrict them.
  • Prepare HSE manual, HSE procedures and JSA.
  • Conduct annual training calendar for Fire Fighting and Safety training programs.
  • Actively get involved in conducting Fire & Safety training at sites.
  • Prepare a checklist for conducting proper checks of all firefighting and safety equipment’s.
  • Evaluation of Safety related tenders and Fire Water Network Tenders, Operation, and maintenance of Fire network.
  • To ensure compliance and implementation of all Legal and Statutory provisions that are required in all aspects of the workplace safety.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning safety audits for domestic and commercial connections and also for installation of booster stations.
  • Participate in commissioning and operation and maintenance of City Gate Station and booster stations for CGD.
  • Educating the employees/work force about the safe work procedures and implement the same in the workplace for a zero-accident work performance.
  • To drive implementation of HSE processes and asset integrity practices of the Company at the respective GA/Zone level in line with the set norms.
  • Should be well conversant with the CGD specific practices and its implementation.
  • Should be conversant with PNGRB’s T4S, ERDMP and IMS regulations and its implementation.
  • Responsible for safety, risk management and hazard analysis
  • To conduct safety audits (internal & external) and comply with the audit recommendation
  • To implement all safety standards during pre-commissioning, commissioning of Steel pipeline, CNG stations, Industrial, Commercial, and domestic connections.
  • Liaison with state fire agencies and other statutory authorities
