Senior Manager CNG Project, O&M and Marketing

Objective / Purpose of the job

• Above 10 Years of post qualification work experience in CGD, handling marketing activities including setting up CNG stations & monitorin

Key Responsibilities 

• To ensure timely review of the CNG/PNG steel and MDPE pipeline network progress with the PMC
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for all engineering and technical work activities performed at project sites.
• Liasioning with various bodies and agencies for obtaining permissions and site supervision required for the project
• Drive the critical process of Gas Sourcing and transportation
• Co-ordinate with M/s GAIL, OMCs, and platforms like IGX for gas procurement
• Develop & implement pricing and commercial and marketing strategies for PNG & CNG fuel
• Approach major Industrial & Commercial customers, assess business potential and develop a business plan Oversee customer enrollment, agreements and marketing processes
• Conduct energy profiling for industrial units and demand estimation to analyze energy usage patterns
• Identify prospective land for CNG stations, negotiate with customers for development, Monitoring and supervision of CNG station construction, Roll out various business models for CNG station expansion within the GA
• Develop relationships with state authorities and other stakeholders for business growth, Ensure compliance with CGD regulations and operational guidelines
• Identify process improvement areas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Track customer invoices and conduct aging analysis for collections
• Ensure seamless co-ordination with suppliers for uninterrupted gas sourcing
• Day to day planning and execution of Engineering, Operations and Maintenance activities in CNG to meet annual business plans and PNGRB targets.
• Designing and implementing systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate smooth function of operations and maintenance to enhance operations efficiency.
• Take over entire CNG infrastructure for ensuring that all CNG stations are operational at all times.
• Develop CNG O&M contracts on composite basis for online/booster stations and gas/electric compressors, dispensers etc.
• To manage the LCV movement across the DRS, DODO station in the most cost-effective manner and ensure nil dry outs
• To lead from front to innovate and ideate in cost cutting measures in power consumption.
• Develop and implement O&M procedure, work instructions including safe practices for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and emergency handling procedure.
• Monitor and control gas loss on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with Finance & Accounts for ensuring accuracy in sales accounting.
• Plan and execute statutory activities like calibration, hydro testing etc.
• To provide technical input to HOGPL team for continual improvement related to CNG O&M.
• To ensure preparation of detailed checklist for CNG station, monitoring O&M activities at all the CNG stations under construction.
• Monitoring and coordinating preventive maintenance at CNG sites.
• Develop and implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as per OISD & PNGRB T4s guidelines and monitoring of various safe operating parameters. Act Vas a resource person for competency development of outsourced and off roll field staff involved in CNG networks.
• Deploy best HSE practices at the CNG stations to ensure incident free operations and maintenance. Responsible for Health, Safety, Security and Environment protection of men, machines and equipment's. for the PNG and CNG business across all business segments. Preparing and tracking the budget.
• Identify potential geographies and new product segments for expansion.
• Define processes for tracking MIS and sales performance data to enhance effectiveness with effective controls.
• Identify process improvement areas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Define and coordinate marketing training programs.
• Any other role and responsibility assigned by the Management from time to time.
• Drive critical process of gas sourcing and transportation
• Analyse sales and other reports that give insight into how to improve performance.
• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new contracts.
• Develop risk assessments and pricing structures for PNG & CNG.
• Shall be able to keep track of alternate fuel prices for competitive fuel analysis.
• Technical and commercial feasibility assessment of new sites to augment growth for the PNG Domestic, PNG Industrial, PNG Commercial and CNG segment.

Qualification

• Essential - BE/B Tech (full time) in any branch of engineering with 60% marks or CGPA of 6 on 10- point scale
• Desirable - 2 years full time/3 years part time recognized MBA/PGDBM with specialization in Marketing
